Discovering God's Plan for Us
God promises us a redeemer
It came as no surprise go our Heavenly Father that we would fail in the garden. He knew we would make the
wrong decision, and yet he created us anyway and gave us a free will. We could choose between right and
wrong. Yes, we chose to disobey. Yet God loves us anyway.

Scripture reading: Genesis Chapter 3
The Bible is the story of God's redemptive grace and love. He knew what man would do and yet He
created him anyway. Let that sink in for a moment. Jesus, God's only son, was slain from the foundation of the
world the scripture says. All because of His love for mankind.
We all love lots of things in our lives. We love our spouses, our family, our dogs, our cats, our jobs, but no
matter how much love we think we have in our hearts, we can never love as much as God does. The very
definition of God is love (1 John 4:7, 8).
It is hard to explain such love. On this side of eternity we may never fully understand why God loved us
so much. What we can do is accept it, bask in it, and be eternally grateful for it.
Have you recently thanked God for His immeasurable love?
